Music Video Post Production, etc., etc., etc.

Tonight we are finishing up on the post production of our new Holiday Music Video, "I Wish For A Moment..." The request for it was a surprise (at least to us) and so we have been creatively playing the hand we were dealt. Zig-Zag, Improvise, and hope it's entertaining and in the Spirit of the song. Regardless, it's time to release Prince Albert from the Can!

We had a great time playing at Club D last night. We had a great time with the crowd and really enjoyed the holiday spirit. Here's a shot of our setup in their great space.

What's in a name??? (To be exact, Our Name)

While performing, we've been asked how the name of our band was derived.

An excellent question.

When it was time to actually name our duo, Mike liked the idea of having the word "society" in there somewhere. It suggested a collective of sorts. Something universal and non-traditional.
Jesse came up with rest. It was a brilliant combination of "punk" attitudes and simplicity.

It also worked well as just initials or an acronym.

The folkes over at Mommapolloza and Mingle Media asked us to put together a music video for our new holiday single, "I Wish for a Moment."

Are we up to the task?

Of course. The Ukulele Cowboy Society embarks this evening on its next audio visual journey...

Franklin Park Conservatory Gig

Holiday Song for the Masses!!!

On the heels of the release of their premier CD, "Phantom Heart" - Jesse was asked to write a Holiday Song, so out poured an original composition, "I Wish For A Moment..."
It's a Swinging-Lullaby for the Season.

We are very pleased to make it available on our Face Book page and on our website as free download.

The song was recorded and mixed in our home and performed for the first time on Friday Night at The Grove City Winter Light's Holiday Celebration!

We hope that you all enjoy it and please pass it on to others in the spirit of the Comfort and Joy!
